YOU saved a life! Meet Baby Joy!

Joy Kauffman, MPH

YOU saved a life! Meet Baby Joy, the first baby ever named after FARM STEW's Founder, Joy Kauffman!

Her mom, Teresa, (name changed) is deaf and was raped. She lives in the mud house below. She was in labor for three days and was failing. Betty (pictured with me) a FARM STEW trainer, was getting all the updates and finally shared the details with me. With your support, I was able to send $100 to save Angela and Baby Joy's life! (The hospitals in Uganda won't operate without cash up front.)

We’ve been working to reach the deaf community in this rural village with the message of FARM STEW!

These are the beautiful woman who have taken Teresa and Baby Joy into her home to care for her.

The wonderful women who took in Angela and Baby Joy!

If this offends, I’m sorry, but this is the most beautiful picture I can imagine. Baby Joy getting exactly what she needs from a mother who loves her enough to go with God’s design for infant feeding! Praising God for Teresa!

Baby Joy being loved in the best way by her mother!

God bless you all for making a difference in the lives of some of the world's most vulnerable people!

Quotes
"I am 14 years old, and I started my period this year. My first day I felt shy and I missed school... It is not easy to find pads in my village and the few here are very expensive to buy. These new pads are going to protect me when I am having my period. Since they are reusable, I am not going to worry anymore when my periods come!"
Pads

Freedom from Shame

Everyday thousands of African girls drop out of school. WHY? Their monthly cycle, period.  You can help these girls stay in school with washable cloth pads, panties and confidence for 15$ per girl.
Our goal is 5000 girls in 2020!
